IllUMI-Nite 25 PROGRAM
The holiday season can be very overwhelming for people going through hard times. Michael’s family knew this all too well going into their first Christmas season without him. One evening in December, they came out to see their home and entire neighborhood lined with the beautiful lights from luminaries. It was this simple act of kindness that helped give them the slightest bit of hope to KEEP GOING.
Illumi-NITE is a program inspired by this act of kindness. The focus of Illumi-NITE is to share Michael’s legacy of bringing light and messages of hope to others. Students put kindness into action by placing luminaries, KEEP GOING signs, and words of encouragement at recipients' homes. Illumi-NITE was launched in December of 2022, providing an opportunity for students to show up for others. Through Illumi-NITE, KEEP GOING 25 helps others KEEP Light and Hope GOING.

”Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were so touched to see the luminaries outside of our house. We miss Charlie every day, but holidays are especially hard. It is so beautiful to know that people are remembering Charlie and praying us through the hard days. There is incredible hope in seeing the light break through the darkness! Thank you. We will remember to KEEP GOING.”
- FAMILY RECIPIENT
“Thank you so much for thinking of our family in your “Keep Going 25” school project. You have no idea how much this very thoughtful gesture meant to my whole family. The luminaries were absolutely beautiful! What really touched us was all of your signatures on the back of the sign encouraging us to “keep going”. The support and love you bestowed upon our family at Christmas time truly does encourage us to “keep going”.” We look forward to paying it forward next year.”

We fund Pre-K through 12th grade curricula
and professional learning services for
students, teachers, and parents.

“It is very beneficial for students to learn and model behaviors that develop their character for a lifetime, especially when they will face the challenges of negative social media. Love this way of building community. Students respond well to positive lessons which promote responsible, respectful citizens”
- 1ST GRADE TEACHER
“I do think character development helps educate the whole child. I think it is valuable to help them be sensitive to others’ needs, and to see things from other points of view.”

“Thank you so much for all you are doing. What a special thing you ALL did for these families who have been through the unthinkable. Can’t put it into words. You and all the parents involved in this project are teaching our children to be loving people, be grateful, have a good heart, be empathetic, trust God and most importantly to never give up…even in our darkest hour, to remember people care and you’re not alone. I’m extremely grateful for everything this project is doing and everything it’s teaching my son. Life lessons that he will remember forever and so will we. This really is beautiful work…Keep Going and keep touching lives”

Emotional Support Dog

THE PROGRAM
Emotional Support Dog - or dogs in classrooms can provide physical and emotional health benefits for students. Having a dog present in the school promotes a positive mood and provides significant anti-stress effects on the body. Perhaps the greatest benefit of dogs in the classroom is the effect on students’ social-emotional development.

THE IMPACT
In May of 2022, the KEEP GOING 25 Foundation, funded a program at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio to purchase Sidon, to serve the Moeller Family. Having a dog on campus helps improve student development by reducing anxiety, increasing empathy and compassion. This partnership honors the memory of Michael Currin, including his impact and legacy he created with the Moeller Family at such a young age.

The impact of Sidon at Moeller High School includes the availability of his talents to over 890 young men and over 120 faculty and staff. He has become an important staff member and part of the Moeller Family. He is a constant reminder of the importance of mental health and our mission to support our students and form them into remarkable men. He teaches that anyone and everyone needs support and it is okay to ask for help and/or share your feelings.
